How to Choose High Bay Lights
Compare high bay lighting for ceiling height, layout, voltage, mounting and sensor compatibility.
Describe the Interior
Provide the ceiling height, mounting height, floor layout, racks, work areas and existing fixture locations. An open warehouse and a narrow aisle can need different distributions. Identify obstructions and tasks before comparing fixture output.
Check Installation Compatibility
Confirm supply voltage, mounting method, cord and plug details, and available clearances. Not every high bay includes a plug, hook or compatible sensor. Review the installation instructions for the exact configuration and coordinate electrical work with a qualified installer.
Read Performance Figures Together
Compare lumens, input power, distribution and the conditions under which the figures apply. A higher lumen rating does not guarantee better task lighting. Review a layout for dark areas and glare, then confirm the chosen color temperature and dimming or occupancy-control interface before ordering.
